Gardening/Native Plants Workshop

Landscape experts from Mortimer Nursery present a free workshop for ages 18 and up Monday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Civic Center. Deadline: Oct. 6.

Evening Yoga

Yoga for ages 18 and up meets Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 6 - 27, from 6 - 7 p.m. at Bradshaw Mountain High School east campus band room. Cost is $35. Registration deadline is Sept. 29.

Morning Tai Chi

Tai Chi for ages 18 and up with instructor Dr. Beverly Muffin takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 - 8:45 a.m. at the Civic Center. Session 1: Oct. 2 - 30 Cost is $54. Session 2: Nov.r 4 - 25. Cost is $36. Session 3: Dec. 2 - 23. Cost is $42. Registration is limited to 15 students per session. Deadline is seven days prior to start of each session.

Evening Tai Chi

Tai Chi program for ages 18 and up with instructor Dr. Beverly Muffin takes place Thursdays from 4:30 -5:30 p.m. at the Civic Center, room 331. Session 1: Oct. 2 - 30. Session 2: Nov. 6 & 20 Dec. 4 & 18. Cost is $24. Registration is limited to 15 students per session. Registration deadline is seven days prior to start of each session.

Hula Class

Hula class will take place Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center in Community Room 331. Learn Hawaiian language, culture, values and the dances of Hawaii with instructor Kehau Chrisman. Cost is $40.

Registration deadline is seven days prior to start date.

Hiking Workshop

A free hiking workshop for ages 18 and up will take place on Monday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Civic Center, room 331.

Participants will learn the best places to hike now through the end of winter.
