Homeowners and landscape professionals have a handy, new service in town that not only offers small equipment repair, but a mobile service, too.

Yes Man Yard Equipment Services offers a mobile component for house and business calls.

"This idea began because of long service times. Often customers have a long wait time, sometimes weeks, for their repairs," Manager Damen Yeager said.

"Our goal is a week or less and we operate on a three-day average. People need their equipment."

What sets YES MAN apart? They sell parts for patrons wanting to do their own repairs. In addition, the business offers CORE professional, eco-friendly tools and other maintenance items including used Stihl machines and four-cycle engines.

"We are a Dolmar authorized dealer. Most homeowners may not be familiar with that name, but commercial landscapers may recognize it. It's very well known in the European market," Yeager said.

"We also provide something unique, a two-year warranty instead of the average 90-day type."

Yeager became interested in small engine repair at a young age when he started racing motorcycles. His father would show him how to fix the engines. "I've always been interested in seeing how things work. I can say I enjoy my job," he said.

YES MAN provides in-house and mobile repair and does not charge a trip fee unless the job is outside of the quad-cities area.

Currently, they are running a special raffle for a new chainsaw. Tickets cost $5 each or five tickets for $20. Proceeds benefit the Disabled American Veterans.

Yeager and technician Ryan Finlan fix a variety of items to include trimmers, blowers, hedgers, mowers, skid loaders, generators and ATVs. They also repair welding equipment and sharpen chain saws, trimmers and mower blades.

YES MAN operates 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturdays by appointment. For commercial emergencies, staff is available 24/7 and located in the Landscape Center building, as well as the eye-catching mobile truck at 6800 E. Highway 69. Call (928) 830-2203 or visit yesmanmobile.com.
