7/3/2013 8:22:00 AM Deadline approaching for Prescott Valley Community Service Award nominations
The Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to present its annual Community Service Award Recognition program in which organizations, individuals and businesses who have made a significant contribution to Prescott Valley in fiscal year 2012/13 will be recognized and awarded.
The Chamber is soliciting nominations from everyone in the community include the citizens, businesses, chamber members, clubs, and organizations for these prestige awards. The selected winners will be awarded at the Chamber's Annual Banquet on July 26 at the Prescott Resort.
The Selection Committee is made up of the Chairman of the Board of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce, a Town Council person, a School Board Member, a Member of the Clergy, and a community member at large.
Listed below is a brief outline of the awards and their criteria. Nominations may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. List the nominee's name, category of nomination and why you feel they are deserving of the award.
Please include your name so that if your nominee is selected the Chamber can make arrangements with you for their recognition. Deadline for nominations is Monday, July 8. If you have any questions, please contact the Chamber office at 772-8857.
Student of the Year
Outstanding, involved upper classmen to be chosen by student advisors and/or administration.
Organization of the Year
Recognition for service to and promotion of the community. A "not for profit" civic and/or service organization. Need not be a Member of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Community Improvement - Large and Small project
Recognition of the development or improvement of real property in Prescott Valley.
The Norm Pariseau Volunteer of the Year
Need not be a Member of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce. An individual who has served our community as a non-paid volunteer.
Need not be a Member of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce. An individual, organization or business that has promoted the economic health or image of the community.
Citizen of the Year
Need not be a Member of the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce. An individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the community in service and/or leadership.
Chamber Member of the Year
A Member who has through dedication, made an outstanding contribution to the Chamber of Commerce.
Prescott Valley Heritage Award
Someone who was instrumental in the founding of Prescott Valley and/or its' top organizations.
